Happy New Year - and a colourful end to the old

French Infantry in Egypt must be one of the most colourful armies around and I just managed to complete these four units before the year ended.

Lovely figures and I'll have to get another pack of these Strelets French Light Infantry in Egypt to make some light infantry and a couple more units

Wishing everyone all the best for 2014

A much neglected part of the Napoleonic era and wargaming too. I agree they had some of the most colourful and interesting French uniforms. Great to see such nicely done figures - love the casualty markers too - you'll need a few dozen more of them if you do the Mamelukes as well! Now wouldn't that be a challenge?

All the best for the New Year.
